As you’d know, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. With offices all around the globe, our team members are always there to help our customers have amazing travel experiences. They love having the chance to talk to customers all over the world, mentally travel to the customers’ destination and help make an unforgettable travel experience.
Nonetheless, it’s no small feat to become one of our amazing Customer Service Representatives. They need the stamina to always pick up the phone or answer an email with a smile and contagious positive energy. It’s also not easy to memorize all the information to share with our customers, keep cool when customers are struggling or stay on top of the many calls coming in each day.
Fortunately, we find it rewarding! Especially working in a team of happy people who are passionate about helping our customers - there’s a new adventure everyday!
So, sound like the job for you but worried you won’t quite cut it? Never fear! GetYourGuide will help you develop the true adventurer inside of you.
How? Thanks to three weeks of tough, fun and funny training with Bruno, our expert Customer Service trainer. Here is the path you have to follow to become one of our inspiring Customer Service Representatives.
During the first week you’ll get to know each other, be introduced to the technical setup and learn about all the useful tools we have to help you. Plus, you’ll learn about our policies and how the team works together.
In the second week, things get a little more challenging. Our newbies learn and practice how to talk to customers both on the phone and via email. We do role plays and funny exercises to become experts in communicating with different customers of different backgrounds and in different situations. We even learn about understanding accents better! Staying polite, positive and making our customers always feel supported is a matter of learning and commitment, and something we genuinely love!
Finally, the third week is shadowing time! You’ll be on the ground next to our more experienced agents, to learn from the best and make sure you’re ready for the job.
We just finished training our last group of new customer service extraordinaires and had a great time! Who knows, maybe you’ve spoken with one recently? Or you might be lucky enough to be in the next group!
