All new hires will receive the same important information that we give out on Onboarding Days, including their departmental point of contact and the opportunity to meet fellow new hires.
New joiners will be onboarded twice per month as usual, on the 1st and the 15th of each month.
After they start, we’ll organize an additional remote check-in for the new groups two weeks into their roles. This call will follow up on how they’ve found the first two weeks and to discuss any issues they may have come across.
Day 1
Theme: Join the journey
Our talent onboarding specialist will give you an introduction to the GetYourGuide story, mission, and values. You will also have a one-on-one meeting with your manager, which should be arranged beforehand.
Day 2
Theme: Curing the chaos
On the second day, we will walk you through the employee journey at GetYourGuide with a round of introductions and an overview of the People team including the Employee Representation Group, Talent Acquisition, and Employer Branding. We’ll then walk through fire safety, health and work safety, and IT security.
